There is an extensive amount of information emerging about the health benefits
of consuming organic extra virgin coconut oil. The brand we like and use is made by "Thai Pure Coconut Co. Ltd" as it has a nice flavor & aroma and is quickly absorbed through the skin. It is not sticky at all like some others we have tried. Foods cooked/fried in this oil really taste “fresh & clean”.
The company has been in production since 2004 so they have spent over 10 years perfecting their process.

Ordinary white table salt is a product that has been stripped of all its natural minerals except for sodium and chloride, then iodine (which naturally occurs in salt) is added back in (source). Himalayan Salt is millions of years old sea salt that has over 80 naturally occurring minerals in place, which gives it the attractive pink color. Salt is essential to our health so we think it wise to use the product in the form nature created it. All salt is sea salt so beware of claims out there, read the fine print (is it "processed/stripped" even though it is labeled "sea salt"?).

“All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we are going back from whence we came.”John F. Kennedy

240ml Spray Bottle - 300 Baht

My Canadian family for over 10 years (and Thai family for +5 years) have been enthusiastic users of Colloidal (& Ionic) Silver. We find it extremely helpful in treating a wide variety skin conditions including: skin/eye/ear/nasal/throat infections, insect bites, treating burns, etc. Before antibiotics became popular silver solutions were very commonly used to successfully treat a wide variety of infections. For some conditions you may have to spray the infected area several times a day for a few days to get satisfactory results, other situations not so much. Link to our supplier

100g bar - 100 Baht

We searched around Chiang Mai for a high quality locally-made “100% all natural” herbal soap to add to our products that would complement Noi’s fresh herbal juice. We really like the product made by SOAP-n-SCENT so it is now part of our inventory. It is made in Chiang Mai, and shipped worldwide. This quote from their website said it all for us…

"Our basic soap recipe starts with rice bran oil, an excellent moisturizer. Then we select palm oil containing a high percentage of oleic. This makes the soap a superior conditioning and cleansing bar. Next, we put in palm kernel and coconut oils to provide even more moisture and give a rich, fluffy lather. Finally, we add olive oil as an emollient to produce the ultimate, deep moisturizing effect.

Every bar of soap contains natural glycerin, a by-product of our homemade process. This natural glycerin helps improve your skin's moisture balance by attracting external moisture and holding the moisture on your skin, without interfering with the skin's natural functions. We select only the purest essential oils that not only benefit your skin, but also enhance your spirit through aromatherapy. Each unique bar is handmade and hand-cut under careful quality control."

Pro-Biotic Cleaning Products

All Natural "Earth Friendly" Cleaning Products For the Body, Home and Environment
A Chiang Mai area Farmers Co-operative

These products are based on Pro-Biotic principals rather than the concept of anti-bacterial agents, using beneficial microorganisims combined with naturally occuring elements from plants and fruits to combat pathogenic bacteria while maintaining a natural balance of natural beneficial microbes in the home, on the body and in the environment. There are no chemicals used in extracting the useful elements from the plant material, but rather by a process of fermentation and cultivation of beneficial microorganisims, these elements combine to form a synergistic "brew" which is highly effective for cleaning and dissolving dirt grease and grime as well as killing odors caused by bad bacteria.
